This week’s spotlight is Katy Olivas. She is eight years old and is a third grader at Moscow Elementary, home of the Fighting Wildcats. She is the daughter of Linda Olivas. She is the youngest out of her and her three siblings. Her siblings’ names are Junior, Tony and Gina.
Katy has three pets, and they are Susie, Missy and Zelda. Katy’s favorite subject is math because it’s fun. Ms. Hefner is Katy’s favorite teacher because she teaches her a lot of things. Katy likes sports because they’re fun. Katy likes school because she gets to learn things that she never knew before.
Jacie is Katy’s best friend because she is nice. Katy’s favorite movie is Away and Back because it talks about nature. Her favorite book is Goosebumps because it’s scary. In Katy’s free time, she likes to play outside.
When Katy gets older, she wants to become a teacher because it looks fun to her. Christmas is Katy’s favorite holiday because we celebrate Jesus’ birthday. Her favorite season is summer because the pool is open. Pink is Katy’s favorite color because it’s a bright color. Her favorite thing about Moscow is school because she gets to see a new teacher and friends. This spotlight was over Katy Olivas.
