Jodi Staggers is the daughter of Georgia and Richard Price. Jodi has two older sisters, Dawn Beckham and Terri Price. Jodi Staggers is married to Kevin Staggers. They have two kids-- A ten-year-old daughter, Elisha; they also have a son named Keegan who is five. They have a family dog named Ruby who is a German Short-haired Pointer.
Jodi Staggers is a teacher at Moscow Junior/Senior High School. She teaches math, accounting, and computers. Mrs. Staggers’ dream job is to be an accountant. Jodi’s hero is Jesus. She said, “Jesus is my hero because he never gave up or lost faith in anyone. Along with my dad because he fought a good fight and made sure that we enjoyed quality of life in his final days.”
Mrs. Staggers said that she thinks she is pretty laid back and family orientated. She really enjoys teaching and is passionate about it. Jodi went to Haviland High School in Haviland, Kansas. She attended Dodge City Community College, Pratt Community College, and Grand Canyon University. She said she has lived in many places but moved to Moscow, Kansas from Greeley, Colorado.
Jodi has several close friends; their names are Tina, Kayla, Ginger, and Sara. She enjoys watching and playing volleyball or basketball. Her favorite move is The Shack, and her favorite books are the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. I asked Mrs. Staggers who her favorite teacher is and she said, “My favorite teacher is a toss-up. Obviously my math teachers were a major influence, and some of them I still talk to currently. My music teacher all through junior high and some of high school was pretty amazing and helped influence me to get a large scholarship for college.”
In her free time Jodi enjoys being outside with her family whether it’s fishing or playing ball. She also likes to cross-stitch and read. Someone Jodi couldn’t live without is God. He is someone that she can talk to about anything. She hope that she can show her children the importance of that relationship.
In ten years, Mrs. Staggers, sees herself still teaching and living in the country somewhere. She said her kids will be in college and high school so that will keep her busy as well.
