by Briannah Davidson, Sophomore The day Marki Grace Anton came into the world was June 6, in the year of 1996. Her parents are Mike and Mary Anton, and she has one sister, who is Mikala. She doesn’t really have a favorite birthday memory because they have all gone pretty fast, but she can remember one birthday at Angie Lahey’s pool. Everyone was there, and she said it was really fun. It was a perfect night for her. She has way too many favorite high school memories. She has memories from basketball with Alex in the locker room, cheerleading with Hailey and Daisy, conversations with Miss Daniels, walking around town, and eating at China with Kendra where they ordered enough for six people! Her favorite thing to do in her free time is watch Castle (a lot), look at colleges, be on Youtube looking at random things, figure random things, write, and be a turtle or a snail in class. Her favorite thing about going to Moscow High School is the classes are small, the teachers make sure you get it and will pass, and the teachers also are there to help in any way. “Well,” she says, “most of them are anyway.” Her favorite sport is basketball because it is faster paced, so she can actually watch it without getting bored. Marki doesn’t have a favorite artist, but her favorite kind of music is country, Christian, pop, and anything that sounds good. Her favorite thing to do in the summer is tan, swim, and work. She loves the sun and swimming kind of keeps her in shape, and she likes to work because she loves money. Her favorite kind of colors are bright and happy ones. Her favorite food is anything Italian, and her favorite TV show is Supernatural and Doctor Who. She sees herself in ten years owning her owning her own business or helping somewhere far away. She explains herself as crazy, kind, and outspoken. “I try to do my best to be nice to people, but I’m gonna say what’s on my mind. She has the best sister in the world, Rebeca. She participates in basketball, volleyball and track. She looks up to her parents because they are non-judgmental, and they try to help everyone who comes their way. They are the nicest people and have the warmest hearts out of everyone she has ever met. Her sister is also a very admirable person to her. “I admire my sister because she is such an amazing person all around. She puts others before herself and has shown me what respectfulness really is.” Maria would love to one-day travel to Greece because it looks simply beautiful. She would also bring along her family and some of her friends probably Kaitlyn. If she had one wish in the whole world, it would be for everyone to have “happiness.” By this she means no cancer, poverty or having to starve. Maria’s biggest pet peeve is when people are mean; everyone should be nice! She loves spending time with her family, laughing her heart out and helping others. What an amazing girl, right? Three words that would completely describe Maria would have to be LOUD, AMUSING, AND WARM-HEARTED. The best day in the whole wide world in her opinion is September 14, 1996 when this sweet young girl was born. The best memory ever that Maria can remember is, of course, with Kaitlyn Dobie, when Kaitlyn stepped in poop at some lady’s house while they were at dance practice. Her most valued possession would have to be anything she gets as gifts; she loves it and appreciates it forever! Three things Maria must do before she dies are kiss Channing Tatum, swim with dolphins, and own her own hospital. When Maria was younger she imagined herself as a famous doctor that would help everyone in her own way and have a HUGE family. Her biggest accomplishments are being the person she is today and making her parents proud. Her plans after high school are to play college basketball, become a doctor, have a big family and donate! After graduating and leaving Moscow, she hopes to be remembered as a small town girl with a big heart. Here is what she would miss most about Moscow—the teachers and the wonderful atmosphere. |
