This question is not very often asked, which is a positive thing. Many people believe that the death penalty is the only way to go, and others believe that the death penalty should be banned? What do you think? What goes in your mind when a murder occurs? What goes through your mind when an innocent person dies because of a drunk driver?
Many say that the death penalty should be enforced when a horrific crime occurs. Others say that the death penalty should never be enforced no matter how horrific the crime may be.
Look at this way, if the death penalty is enforced then the people that committed the crime will not have to suffer because of the fact that they will not be on this earth anymore, so they don’t have anything to worry about. Another negative fact is that the criminal will not suffer, but the family of the criminal will be the ones that are left behind with broken hearts and souls for the rest of their lives. Sometimes people think the death penalty is not negativity in life but rather think that it is positivity for the criminal.
If the death penalty is not enforced than the people that commit terrible crimes can live in a jail cell for the rest of their pathetic life suffering and never seeing daylight again. In this case, the family might suffer even more knowing and being reminded that their family member is a criminal that will spend the rest of their life in a small jail cell.
One of the major benefits of the death penalty is that it stops some people from doing very bad crimes. There are other people that do not have a single care in the world and will still do it anyway.
A downfall about the death penalty is that once the criminal is put in line for the death, he or she will no longer suffer, like I said before in this article, and will get the easy way out.
Nobody should ever have the guts to murder someone or even put them in a chair that does the killing, but if they had the guts to kill a human being then they should be able to be put to eternal sleep or spend the rest of their life suffering by being in a jail cell.
No one really knows the true value of the death chair, and I don’t think anyone should ever really know unless it is the person that is being led there. No one should ever go through the process of the death chair because every human being should be smart about his or her actions. We all get it; no one is perfect. We all should get that no one is as stupid as they seem as well. That phrase is meaning that everyone should know the difference between an accident and a murder case. Also, everyone should be cautious of their actions so that they will never meet that so-called death chair.
