The Dodge Demon is a Challenger model. It was based off the most recent of the Challenger collection, the Hellcat. The Demon is made mainly for racing purposes, but it is street certified (barely). This car only takes 2.3 seconds to get from 0-60. And to go only a quarter of a mile in 9.65 seconds at 140mph. The Demon only has a driver’s seat and a middle consul. The car has the biggest hood scoop ever used on a muscle car.
They bulked up the rear axle, rods, pistons, and valvetrain. They added dual-stage fuel pumps. They took in the car buy 45.2 square inches, and another in-take in the middle of the car. There is a last and final in-take by the wheel liner. Demon takes up so much air at full throttle that it will take out all the air out of a single car garage in just two minutes. The company took off 200 pounds from there new Challenger by switching their brake calipers to aluminum; they also changed it to open end lug nuts but most of the weight was from the carpeting and sound insulation. They also took out the parking sensor, 16 of their speakers, and all the other seats but the driver’s seat.
Dodge fixed the air conditioning system by putting refrigerant in the car’s whole system to make sure that it doesn’t overheat. “It drops the temperature by 45 degrees before the supercharger stuffs it into the cylinders.” Dodge put an 8-speed automatic transmission in the new cars to handle the torque, “a stronger drive shaft.” It’s first of its kind to put a single-seat product. You can get a back bench for only a dollar each. You can add a “19-speaker 900 watt audio system for good measure.” “That is if you’re not too concerned about those last couple of tenths at the track. If you are, you’ll definitely want to order the optional Demon Crate.”
You can buy a goodie box that comes with an engine controller, some thin front-runner drag wheels. Hydraulic jack for the floor and an impact wrench that’s cordless to change them , an addition to a tool kit, and some more Dodge Demon branded extra tools to help make your car a racer for the strip. There hasn't been a special addition for major auto companies since the 60’s. In America there are only going to be 3,000 Demons released and only 300 for Canada. Prices have not been said yet, but many other companies are saying it will at least six figures.
