Apps to help you do your homework or just work? I am going to compare Microsoft Word and Google Drive for iPads.
Nowadays everyone has an iPad or iPhone. You hardly see anyone carry around a laptop. So how do we do we type papers for work or school? Well, Microsoft finally caught on to everyone using iPads, and they came out with the Microsoft Office for iPad. You can also get all the other things that Microsoft has come out with like PowerPoint. The apps for all of these are free on the app store but in order to use it, you need an Office subscription, which is like $99 a year. So if you love Word a lot and trust it, then go ahead and pay $99 a year. But if you think paying that much is ridiculous then I am going to tell you about an even better app, and it is completely free; it’s called Google Drive. Google Drive is connected to your Google email account; to login to Google Drive, you just need a Google account. When you get Google Drive, you don’t need a new password or anything; you use the same password and email as your Google account. But on Google Drive you can type papers and make presentations and save it on Google! You will never ever need a flash drive again. And don’t worry, only you can see your account (unless you share it). You don’t have to worry about it being on the Internet! So from my personal view, I love Google Drive. I can type a paper anywhere I have Internet and not have to pay to use it.
